ONG Li-Teng

Li-Teng is a senior scientist at Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS). Her research interests involve the development of a comprehensive understanding of immune cells and how their alterations contribute to human disease. She completed her undergraduate studies in University of Arizona and Ph.D in Nanyang Technological University. She is currently working in Dr Yu Qiang’s laboratory at GIS, focusing on understanding therapy resistance and developing novel therapeutic strategies for cancer. Equipped with extensive training in biomarker development, animal model and immunology, she is now developing an adoptive T-cell technology platform specifically for solid tumor treatment.
